We need to raise AU$8,000 to shoot, complete and market The Boys. All funds raised will go directly towards production costs. This includes equipment hire, cast fee’s, post production and marketing expenses.

The Boys is a short drama about the invincibility of teenage-hood, and the universal desire to be accepted. This short film explores the realities of underage drinking, peer pressure and the reckless decisions that are made as a consequence.
There is very limited funding to get short films on the big screen. Private investment and very limited government funding helps fuel the future of Australian filmmaking. A contribution to The Boys is not only an investment in an exceptional story with a significant message; it is also an investment in the development of emerging filmmakers.

This is the big one! Not only will you have our eternal thanks and receive all the benefits of being a Platinum Level Partner, you will also be our Presenting Partner which entitles you to a ‘Presented By…’ credit in the opening sequence of the film and the opportunity to introduce the film to an audience during a VIP Screening to be held in Sydney in December 2010.
