Tom, 16 years old
Tom is an only child who lives with his mum. He would’ve loved a brother to play cricket with, rather than Wii by himself on weekends. He wants to be friends with Jake and his mates, and while he has known them for a few years, he has never quite fitted in. Fundamentally shy and naive, he hates conflict, and avoids it at all costs.
Jake, 17 years old
Jake is the leader of the group, and short of neither friends nor enemies. He embodies the spirit of mischief – an uncontrolled, unrestrained id charging forward in the world. Jake always needs to control the situation, hates being alone and seeks to be around people all the time.
Zac, 16 years old
Zac was born in country NSW, leaving when he was young for Sydney. He has always felt a tie to the land, and is a wannabe Cowboy who talks about his Dad’s ute and his swag. While his idiosyncrasies could be a reason to be bullied, Zac is extremely confident and carries the love of his origins well.
Ben, 17 years old
Ben has just got his license, therefore simultaneously becoming the designated driver for the group and indispensable. Ben is a passionate footballer, a Rabbitoh’s jersey remaining firmly plastered across his chest at all times. Ben is placid and unassuming, and is not influenced by peer pressure.
